Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data DecorAI ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the DecorAI app for Android and this website. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

The short version: we use the room photo you upload to create your AI design, we store as little as we can, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.

1. Data we collect

Photos you upload. The room photos you choose to send for redesign, and the AI images we generate from them.
An anonymous account ID. The app creates a random ID so we can count your free and paid generations. You do not need to give us your name or email to use the app.
Purchase status. Whether you have an active subscription. Payments run through Google Play — we never see your card number or bank details.
Design details. The style and room type you picked for each design, and when you made it, so your library and limits work.
Technical logs. Our servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and to stop abuse. The app has no ads, no analytics and no advertising ID.

2. How we use your data

To create AI interior-design images from the photos you upload.
To track your generation limits (free designs and daily caps).
To handle your subscription and unlock paid features.
To keep the service safe and prevent abuse.
To fix problems and keep the service running.
To answer you when you contact support.

That is the full list. We do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

3. How AI processing works

When you tap Generate, your photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our servers, and then to Replicate, the company that runs the AI model for us. Replicate acts as our processor: it may only use your photo to create your design result, not for its own purposes. The finished design is sent back to your app.

AI results are computer-generated. They are ideas and inspiration, not exact plans. See our Terms of Service for more on this.

4. Where your data is stored

Photos, generated designs, and account data are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which we use for hosting, sign-in, and storage. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own strict data terms.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your photos and generated designs only as long as needed to run the service — for example, so your past designs can show in the app. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete your data yourself at any time: open the app, go to Settings → Delete my data. This removes your photos, generated designs, account data and stored purchase records from our servers. You can also email us (address below) and we will delete it for you and confirm once it is done. Deleting the app from your phone does not by itself delete data stored on our servers. 7. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that run the app for us:

Replicate — runs the AI model that turns your photo into a design.
Google Firebase — cloud hosting, anonymous sign-in, and storage.
Google Play — handles all payments and subscriptions.

These providers may only use your data to provide their service to us. We may also share data if the law requires it. We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for advertising.

8. Children

DecorAI is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will delete the data.

9. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and our AI provider keys are kept on our servers, never inside the app. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your data with current, standard safeguards.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have the right to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, and to complain to a data-protection authority. To use any of these rights, email us — we answer every request.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For big changes, we will also tell you inside the app.
